Yellow Pages
Labour Party Women’s Conference – Yellow Pages issue 1, May 2021 (Suggested motions included)
Labour Party Women’s conference takes place online 25-27 June, and there are several important opportunities to shape the new national Labour women’s organisation. Delegates, nominations and motions can be decided by a Women’s Branch or a CLP.
- Please elect left delegates who will shape the policy Labour needs to deliver for women, and elect the candidates for the new Women’s Committee that we need to build a democratic, dynamic, inclusive Labour women’s organisation. Delegates can be elected through Women’s Branches or your usual CLP structures by midnight on Wednesday 26 May. Each CLP is entitled to send up to two delegates. Registration costs are being met centrally by the Party through a redistribution of a national CLP fund.
- Please nominate the Grassroots Labour Women candidates – Ekua Bayunu, Mandy Clare, Tricia Duncan, Pamela Fitzpatrick and Chloe Hopkins – and Momentum’s Solma Ahmed for the women’s committee by midnight on 26 May. This is a diverse group of experienced left-wing activists standing to ensure a socialist, feminist and democratic Labour Women’s Organisation. More information at: https://www.clpd.org.uk/
