COYLE’S ABUSE OF JVL
‘Neil Coyle MP claims implausibly that his “alcohol dependency” was in part the fault of “attacks on me…for daring to daring to speak out against antisemitism”. ‘TORY ROT’ (AN APPROPRIATE PALINDROME)
‘Over the last 12 years of Lib Dem and Tory Governments, the NHS has been starved of adequate funding. One could be forgiven for thinking that this might have been partly due to a desire to encourage private health insurance companies to move in. Have health service policymakers focused too much on outsourcing parts of the NHS, when the most pressing need was to deliver efficient services to all who need treatment? The public has been given only snippets of information on the handover of parts of the NHS to private companies. The whole truth might astound us all.’
Alan Kembery, The Guardian.
‘6.8 million people in England are waiting for hospital treatment. This pushes many patients into paying for their health care.’
Survey by the charity Engage Britain.
‘The NHS is understaffed, with over 130,000 vacancies.’
NHS Confederation.

*Tory MP, Owen Paterson, successfully lobbied for more than £600 million in Covid comtracts for Randox, who paid him more than £8,000 a month as a consultant.
*The Tories’ use of fast-track ‘VIP lanes’ to award Covid PPE contracts e.g. £40 million handed to Health Secretary, Matt Hancock’s pub landlord.
*Housing Secretary, Robert Jenrick, approved a housing scheme linked to the Tory donor Richard Desmond, after they sat together at a Conservative Party fundraising event.
