HOW MUCH LONGER IS THIS VENDETTA GOING ON?!!!
The persistent refusal to restore the whip to Jeremy Corbyn is vindictive, divisive and damaging. Jeremy, when leader, apologised several times over the issue of antisemitism. The suspicion is mounting that the hard right around Sir Keir want to prevent JC standing again as a Labour MP and that all this is just a devious manoeuvre – a devious manoevre that is destroying any hope of unity in our party.
Everyone knows that JC is not antisemitic. Shadow Cabinet member Jon Ashworth, has put on record what we all know – “It’s ridiculous of anyone to suggest Jeremy Corbyn is racist or antisemitic, in fact he has a long record of fighting racism and antisemitism”.
UNILEVER’S BOSS SPELLS OUT THE TRUTH!
“We don’t have a crisis of climate change or inequality or food security, we have a crisis of apathy, of greed, of selfishness. This is a leadership crisis”.
Paul Polman, former Chief Executive Officer of Unilever, who took the lead in “bringing sustainable business into the UK mainstream”.

BLAIRITES (AND NEO BLAIRITES) DOFF THEIR CAPS TO THE TORY PRESS.
This January’s publication of Government Papers reveal that shortly before Sir William Macpherson published his report, Home Secretary Jack Straw, proposed a follow-up :an ambitious strategy that would prioritise race equality considerations in policy making across government departments. But in No 10 there was fear of how the right – wing press would react. One official recorded – “This could easily become a ‘Telegraph cause célèbre’ if taken too far”. Blair agreed stating, ” We do not want to go OTT on this”. Straw’s excellent proposals were then shelved.

FACTS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS
It needs to be remembered that in a mere 6 months in 2019 the Tories went from their worst national result ever recorded (May 2019 Euros – down to only 9% share of the vote) to one of their best national results at the General Election.
Their duplicitous, but very effective slogans of ” Get Brexit Done” and Oven – ready deal”, had a lot to do with it. Not to mention the unthinking approach of the Remainers surrounding JC.
THE “CARE MARKET” SCANDAL.
“The privatisation of the residential care and nursing home sector, started under the Thatcher and and Major governments, led directly to what may be termed a “warehousing” approach to care, where the larger the institution, the more money could be made.
It is a disgrace that leaving vulnerable people to the whims of what is termed the “care market” has been tolerated by successive governments. There has been cross-party abandonment of the elderly to business interests”.
David Hinchliffe, Labour MP1987-2005, former Shadow Cabinet care minister.
THE CHANGE UK TRAITORS WERE RUBBISH
At least the SDP traitors had some panache. John Cartwright, Labour MP for Woolwich East was the CLP’s elected Auditor. At the 1983 AGM of Woolwich East, he gave a very thorough account of the year’s finances, drawing attention to improvements that needed to be made in the following year. Finally Cartwright said, “I therefore submit my Auditor’s report to the GC for approval”. He added, “I am now joining the SDP”. Cartwright then left the room and went upstairs to a room he had booked, where the press were waiting.
‘SIR KEIR’S SOCIAL CONTRACT LOOKS TO THE PAST, RATHER THAN TO A CARING SHARING FUTURE’
“Keir Starmer writes his own contract to the country around a cold financial logic that trades in the promises of deserved reward for hard work, where people get the share of the pie they are entitled to, rather than promoting an economy where dignity and prospects are a shared endeavor ”
Nesrine Malik, The Guardian
